<<<Bred by Polar Samoyeds Wes went to his new home in Hawaii at the age of 14 weeks and then went to the mainland in the USA.  His owners could not cope and so Wes was put in shelter at the North Texas Samoyed Rescue - Colleen (part of North Texas Samoyed Rescue) was at the airport to collect Wes to take him to the shelter.  From there an amazing bond has grown and Colleen and Wes are a team that are inseparable.  An amazing lady that bought Wes back from the depths of neglect, infection and starvation forming a wonderful bond based on trust and respect.  A dog that did not even answer to his given name given by his owners in Hawaii and only answered to the name given by to him by myself 18 months prior "West".

Owned and resides with Colleen & Jim Fitzgerald at Southern Haze Samoyeds, Texas, USA

Wes and Colleen have been together for 6 months now and what a team they make.  In obedience Wes has received his obedience title CD & CGC and he is currently doing agility with Colleen.  Wes' favourite things in life are his mum Colleen (of course) warming his blanket up and snuggling him in it before he goes to bed on winter nights (he has no coat due to the infection that was all over his body and is still trying to grow it  - not much fun when it is snowing).  He also loves nothing more than to stop on the house roof at agility where he proceeds to stand and gaze at Colleen and grin - Colleen has to go get him, pick him up and carry him back down while everyone at agility claps and cheers!!  And of course the Samoyed girls at Southern  Haze well he thinks they are totally cool as well.
>>> Wes is now a certified therapy dog able to visit the sick children in hospitals to help put a smile on their faces.

Polar Samoyeds were very fortunate that Colleen opened her heart to Wes and now he has the most fantastic home he could wish for.

Financially Polar Samoyeds have been able to help another rescue since Wes arrived at the rescue shelter that day through the North Texas Samoyed Rescue to gain the treatment and housing that they required and also the start for a new life in a forever home.

Thank you very much Colleen and Jim for taking Wes into your lives.
Many thanks to the following people who made this rescue possible :
Lynette Blue (Polar Mist Samoyeds, USA)
Bo Gloster (Shaman Samoyeds, USA)
North Texas Samoyed Rescue the vets, assessors and all associated with rescue behind the scenes

Without all of your help Wes would not have the life he has now.
